Yeah that's what I thought on the fork too. The bike was sold to me as an 08, as well as to the previous owner. Not sure.

Hey I just bought one of these that has no stickers on the fork, which is painted white. What sort of 888 is it? It's got two adjusting knobs on the bottom, red and black. Not sure if the top caps do anything, is there an air valve under them?
